RJ De Vera
RJ de Vera is a 30-year industry veteran who got his start selling Japanese import parts
out of his mom’s garage before his big break selecting cars for the original “The Fast
and The Furious” movie. He now serves as the Vice President of Marketing for SEMA,
the trade association representing the $52B automotive aftermarket industry.
RJ has helped lead a rejuvenation of the SEMA Show after COVID and his unique
perspective helps the organization respond to the constantly changing automotive
industry. His professional journey includes 12 years at 3M Co., a Fortune 100
multinational organization, where he served as the Global Leader of Digital Marketing
and Public Relations for Meguiar's Inc. He joined SEMA in March of 2022 and has
continued to help evolve the representation of its 7,000 member companies.
