Welcome to the right hand drive guys podcast. The show for guys who like right hand drives. As always, I'm Bobby. This is Aaron. And this is episode 68. And this is going to be a learning episode for us. I feel like. Yeah, I think so too. Yeah, I'm excited. And you know, one thing I really am real about with myself is when I don't know something, right? And I don't really know much about supers. Yeah, I don't either. Just the basics, you know, two JZ two JZ two big doctor. Yeah, yeah, for sure. And so, you know, we're like, okay, we we love, you know, all right hand drive cars, right? That's why this isn't the skyline guys, right? That's why this is the right hand drive guys. And so we're like, we need to come to terms with the fact that we need to learn more about one of the most popular right hand drive cars, right? And one of the JDM legends. Yes, for sure. Yeah, that's if somebody's going for the legends collection, this is in it 100%. Yeah, has to be. So, okay, so we're like, we're about to have another guest. We've had on a great variety of guests. Who can we get that's going to be knowledgeable about supers and able to kind of give that knowledge out to us and the audience. Of course. And so we got a buddy with a super and he actually is local to us. I've known him for a solid 20 years. And it kind of just seemed like a no brainer. Who do we got? We got Chris hard sucked. Chris hard sucks. So, he's a local guy, but he's been all around the country. You might know him. He has a white Supra. Yeah, he's got a white fatty single. Yeah. And so, yeah, I mean, we're just going to get him on here. See what he has to say kind of break it down for us. We have a few specific questions that like, we've been wondering for a while. We've like shot it back and forth like multiple times. Like, why is it like this? Yeah. And so yeah, we're excited to see if he can he can kind of like finally put this arrest for us. Yeah, I can't wait. All right, let's get to it. Do it. This is Chris our hard sock with his Toyota Supra. All right. And here we are with the homie Chris hard sock. What's up Chris? Hey guys, how you doing? Pretty good, man. Pretty good. And so, of course, we had you on here because you are to us. You are the super guy. You know, you've had a super for how long? Going on. Well, so I had my first car was an 85 Supra. So the Mark 2 non turbo five speed. So I had that for like three or four years, but I got my Mark for about four years ago this summer. Yeah. So you've got some seat time, even though right, I guess it's hard to have seat time because sometimes the shop take up some, you know, some of your time when you get work done, I experience that much. Yeah. Yeah. Well, so I dropped my car off to get the motor done pre COVID like February of the COVID year. So the shop had it for like till October. So it was like five months longer than anticipated. Yeah. That's tough. So okay, let me rewind because there's so much that we can talk about first. Of course, we know you, right? But like let the listeners know a little bit about yourself. Like what do you do? What do you drive? You know, what's the deal with hard sock? Yeah. Yeah. So I do energy infrastructure for the majority of my 13 years in the field. I've traveled all over the country, lived in so many different places from two, three months to three, two, three years, just kind of all over the place, East Coast, West Coast, Texas. And it was actually kind of cool because in while I was in those areas, we were able to like attend car events and stuff. So the culture differences were really cool to experience. But for the majority of the time, I had a one-ton duly and I mean it was sweet. I mean, it was on 24s. It was like, you know, it was a nice truck. Had a bunch of mods done. But like, I've always had a car. I've always had like a project car. I bought my EVO in 2010. Still have it. So I just always had something to work on and play with. I started out with Honda's. I did my first, my first big like project on my own was an auto-demandual conversion. And I did a JDM GSR swap at the same time. That was like in the forum days. Yeah, so yeah, so like that was like, oh, and then got the EVO, did a bunch of stuff. And then just when I was traveling, I got, I kind of didn't have a place for the car on the road. You know what I mean? So I did feel like there was a part of me that was kind of missing, you know, because I go to these events and I'd see like everybody had their cars there. And you were just like, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, so I got the super. It had always been like a dream car. You know what I mean? Like I'd always wanted a hard top. And then one day we found it on Marketplace. And yeah, so I've had it ever since and I've been super, super happy with it. Where was that on Marketplace? So I found it. We were in Philly at the time. And it was in the Philly area. It was just outside of King of Prussia. So not far away. Oh yeah, not bad. It was 20 minutes, 20, 30 minutes away. And it was white. It was perfect hard top, clean, clean everything. No, no accidents, all original glass panels, everything. I got really, really lucky. Dang, yeah, that is that is pretty lucky. And so, you know, when of course, you know, super is the dream car, right? But like there's there's RX 7 skylines, you know, NSX is, you know, you know, the list, the legends list, right? So what made you choose the Supra over all the other legends? So I had just kind of like I had a budget, right? And I really only wanted to spend like 15, 20 grand. That was like kind of a fun car that I could tote home while traveling. You know what I mean? Just just to play with. And it wasn't necessarily something that needed to be super reliable. So I found this like straight up drift car, dude. Like it was a 94 94 FDRX 7 with a 1J swap. And like I saw it on Marketplace and I was like, it was for 14, 5 and it was down in Maryland. So it was only a couple hours from where I was staying in Philly. And like I started getting hyped. You know, it had like it had the very, it had the really nice set of wheels on it, a body kit, cage, sheet metal dash. I mean, like this car was like race super dirty. Yes. Sounds like channel windows. So I was like, because I was out of state, I didn't really care what the laws were, because I'm only there to have fun. You know what I mean? So whatever. So like I had been hyped up on this car for a couple days. And I had, it was difficult with my work schedule to like kind of go see it. So this one this Friday night, I told this dude that I was like, get at me in the morning it Saturday. I can take the day off. I'll go get I'll come and get it. And you know, I was traveling. So getting cash out of the ATM when your banks aren't around him, that much money is like kind of challenging to do. So like it took planning on my end. And I messaged the dude that morning, that Saturday morning, and someone came from Ohio at like 3 30 AM and bought it. Wow. And dude, I was I was I was I was I always wanted an FD like that's just like, you know what I mean? The 90s cars as long as it was in that group, I was happy and it fit the budget. So I was bummed. I was pretty bummed out. And then the weekend went by and I sure enough man, my super popped up on marketplace. And I think I messaged the dude within like 30 minutes. And what a hawk. Yeah, I was on it. And I was like, but here's the thing. The guy wanted the guy wanted like twice as much as I wanted to spend twice as much as the FD. Yeah. So, uh, which now post COVID, you know, uh, wood is an unheard of deal. So, you know, I'm glad that I I bounced on it when I did. Yeah. But um, so the guy was super cool. I still talked to him today. He's very, very he's a good dude. Um, family man from PA. He uh, the reason he was selling mine was because he wanted a target that he bought. He bought the rolling shell and then restored it. And he wanted it. He was going to paint it royal sapphire pearl, which is like one of the super most desirable colors. Uh, yeah. Um, so that was he said he didn't want to this car was so perfect. The one I bought from him, my white one, that he didn't want to dismantle it and do the interior swap. He just wanted to just start over with something else and just kind of sell it because just the amount of work and everything. So, um, I messaged him and I, you know, I had a Texas number at the time. I was in PA and I was like, Hey man, um, first of all, I'm not like, I'm not a scammer on here or anything, but like, I'm legit. I'm from Maine. I want to buy this car. Like, because I thought as soon as he sees this out of state, dude, he's like, yeah, okay, you know, right. You're like, so wait, you're in PA from Maine with a Texas number. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, I'm like 20 minutes away, dude. I can, I'll be there after work. I will give you, I'll go to the ATM with you and take all the money out that it'll let me take out. So you can see that I'm not like playing with you. I'm being for real, but like, I'll put as much of a down payment as I can on this right now because it's going to take me a little bit to get the money down here because my bank is in Maine and I'm in PA and like, my work schedule is crazy. And the dude was super cool, very understanding and worked with me. And like I said, we still to this day have a really good relationship. That's legit. Yeah. To have the buying experience where it's not like one and done see a type thing. Yeah. And maybe that speaks about the super community itself. Yeah. Um, it was very cool because I was like in touch with him throughout my entire build. So this, when I bought the car, it was pretty much, it was all stock engine wise. It had like 19 inch CCWs on it, which were a little big for me. But like other than that, dude, it was all stock. It was all original. So he saw me do kind of like, you know, what every super guy that has a non-turbo car wants to do. You do the the GTE conversion with the big single and like, you know, I got kind of carried away pretty quick. But like that I think from his from yeah, from from his from his seat, you know, if it were me and I were to sell a car like that, that was like, I would care still, you know what I mean? I would care about it. I would want to make sure that it went to someone that took care of it and appreciated it. And I think, you know, that's that's valuable, you know, especially in the community. And so just to clarify for the audience, you have a US DM Supra. Yes. And so I have a left hand drive. Yep. And so part of the reason, you know, because obviously we're the right hand drive guys, right? But you're like the exception. Yeah. You are like the exception. All right. So, um, but we know that your knowledge is heavy. And so not speaking on the market and prices quite yet, what are the major differences between the USDM Supra like yours and a JDM Supra that, you know, is right hand drive and would be imported from Japan. So, um, obviously the dashes are different. Some of the interior, um, there are panels on the interior that are different. Obviously, the firewall, the brake booster, all that stuff. So on the other side, the steering rack is different. But, uh, and then they had the side markers, but they had some, they had some different models than we had in the US. They had, you know, they were the NA and the TTs here were the RZ, you know, they had like a different code for the models and the JDM versions. Um, and then some of them came with the Rekaros, which we never got. Oh, yeah. What are what seats come in the USDM version? Just a, just, uh, um, some of them came cloth and then some of them came leather or black, but it's just a stock Supra seat. They're actually, so my car came with them and, uh, there's, so I'm a tall guy. I'm like six one. So my head was like at the roof. It was like, they're, they're small cars all together. But a lot of people do what I did and just get, you know, the tightened mounts because they're the lowest seat that mounts there. And then like you just put a set of Rekaros in it and, you know, now you have your, you know, your height to the ceiling is way different, way more comfortable. Uh, but the stock seats are just not, they're not very comfortable in those for a tall person. Yeah, it's almost like, uh, they're you like their US version of it was kind of not to say more luxury, but more like comfort, less race, like almost like they thought their market was more of a, like upper scale, like that type of thing rather than maybe in Japan. They know that they have the market for like the guys who are going to drive the car, so to speak. Yeah, yeah. Yep. Um, so I know, I know you had a question. Yeah, yeah. So what are some of the, the cooler like rare super parts, like the, like the OEM parts, the OEM option parts that you know, you don't see often. What, what are some of those for the Supra? So the 10k tack, uh, the TRD 10k tack, owner and the speedometer, uh, you can spend, I mean, I just saw a tack, owner today and I think it was like 1800 bucks just for the tack. Wow. So if you buy the set, if you buy the set with the speedometer that reads 220, um, I think, you know, I've seen those sets go for like four or five thousand dollars original TRD. And so these are, because I am obviously not super familiar with the cluster setup, but so you're replacing each individually from the cluster. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Interesting. So yeah, you, you get one and not the other in its goofy. Yeah, you're right. You got the 10k tack and you've got the 180 speedo. It's like, okay. So there's a dude, there's a dude that does the speedo mods so that you don't have to buy an authentic one in the US. Uh, this is actually one of my favorite, like these are older people in the super community. You know, this dude names two Hagen. He's like, he's, he's like older dude. I think he's like 60s. You like it? So like some, someone that you wouldn't really expect, um, and, and active. Uh, I've messaged him on, on social media and he's gotten right back to me because he, he does the gauge, the gauge cluster mods. Uh, so just very cool to have that kind of like someone like that. Dude, I'm 35, you know, so it's cool to have someone with way more knowledge that's been, you know, this guy's been the super scene since the 90s. Right. Since the, the Mark four came out, whereas you were like, you were just getting out of third grade. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Um, but they got, they must get some more stuff. Tell us a few more. Yeah. Um, so like, uh, so my favorite one is the TRD hood. So like those TRD hoods, like it for an authentic one, you're looking like 10 grand just for the shoe. That's crazy. Just the, just the hood. That's not painted. That's nothing that's as it came off the car. It came off the TRD hoods. Those are the ones with the vents in the front. Right. The center. Yeah. Like, yep. The four vents across the top of the motor. Yeah. Yeah. That was on the fast and furious. The, the super. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And so what are the, what are, what are those made out of? I, I want to say they're aluminum. They're aluminum. Oh, wow. Yeah. That's pretty cool. Yeah. That's definitely 90s. Yeah. Yeah. Because nowadays that would have been carbon all day. I feel like yeah, or something. The factory, the factory hoods on, on my super is aluminum. Right. Same with the GTRs and stuff. That's, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was what it came with stock, which is cool. It's like the EVO. Right. Yeah. They were trying to find those ways to save, you know, the weight at those times and and use more, I guess, desirable materials. Yeah. That's pretty cool. So TRD tag, TRD hood, anything else? Any Tom's. Tom's. Yeah. We always see that. We're like, super jealous. Dude, we want Tom's shit. Dude, we do the Tom stuff. Yeah. Man, I mean, I know there's a bunch of top secret stuff, but it's so like that stuff is so rare that like it's whatever anyone will pay at the time. It's like up for the highest bidder. I mean, the thing is, is that when it goes for sale, it sells immediately. Right. There is a buyer out there for these, you know, for this stuff. But the factory TRD stuff, I would say, and just like the V160s, the transmission, the 6P transmissions, you can spend 10 to 15 grand on a trans and rear end set up off a stock, off a stock car all day long. I mean, they'll sell out as soon as they get marketplace. So yeah, it's almost like, and it's a lot of the same obviously in the Skyline community. It sounds like pretty much anything is a rare cool part that was made during the original days of the car being for sale. Those of course, those things that people got back then and maybe didn't even realize what they were getting because it was just an option or an upsell or whatever it may be. And now people would literally trade in a lot of stuff for some of those parts, you know. Just for that. Yeah. So okay, here's the knowledge that we've been dying to know. Like we have been dying to know, dude. Like it perplexes us, man, because our cars don't have a USDM counterpart, right? Like most of the cars, you know, I mean, of course, like there's the 240X SX and the, you know, Sylvia's. But like when it comes to Skylines, we don't have this. Like why is there such a price gap in the USDM and JDM cars? Like, what is it that makes the JDM car less desirable and the USDM car like so much more desirable? It's, you know, growing up in the Honda's, right? You know, I went to import a lion's and like, you see the Integra Type R, a real right hand drive one for the first time and you're like blown away. You know what I mean? Like they were way more expensive at that time than the US version. And with that kind of like, that's how it's always been in that kind of world. And then I get into the super world and like you're right, it's the complete opposite. I think a lot of it has to do with part availability. I think a lot of it has to do with, you know, not wanting to shift with your left hand and deal with all of the US things that you guys have to deal with in the right hand drive world, drive-throughs, toll booths, all that kind of stuff. I think, but I think that there's a, a big difference in just, here there's a history, you know, like the car, and the super world, the car's history matters, right? So like, you give me any super with a the United States tag on it. I can pull the VIN. I can tell you everything that that car has been through. Right. Okay. Within 10 minutes, I can tell you the entire life of the car. So right after I bought my car, I had mine registered with the super registry. Anthony, the guy that owns the super registry, sent me a dealership screenshot of my car in 2013 on a law out in Missouri. Wow. And I think it only had like 50,000 miles on it, but like just the data for the history is there and where these cars are so desirable. I think that, you know, when you're talking like collector car, you're talking, you know, two, 300,000 for a, for a 94, 95 Toyota Supra. You can verify its history, you know, it's a piece of mind. I think that that plays a lot in the values. But again, people are only going to, you know, that there is somebody out there for the four car for a, for a 95 96 97 Supra at that price tag with that kind of mileage in that condition. So it'll sell. It's just not, you know, not everybody's going to be able to buy it, right? So when, you know, you see a right hand drive twin turbo automatic, you know, Supra come on the marketplace and they're only asking 40 grand for it. Chances are it's right hand drive. And you know, it, it opens up a different bracket of people that can afford to still have a Supra, you know, even though it's not a left hand drive one, you know, what I mean. So I think that that's cool because more people, you know, to be honest with you, the cars now are priced so far out of like, you know, even being an owner, I wouldn't pay what I would sell my car for. Right. Just straight up. There's just, there's better options. You know, what I mean, there's, you get a twin turbo R8 for that kind of money. Right. You know, and so it's, you're, you're looking for the people that grew up, their dad had one, you know, their memories are going for rides that it would that those are the type of people that are going to spend that kind of money or, you know, with the values increasing so much over the last five years, someone's going to allocate that kind of money to hold on to it so that in 10 years, they can see how much more they've made. Yeah. Oh, for sure. And it seems like, you know, kind of the person who wants a left hand drive is maybe more of the purist, the guy that grew up loving Supra's, the guy that, you know, has always wanted or has always had a Supra. Keep the wheels stock. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Like, whereas maybe like somebody like me, per se, who is into right hand drive cars is a fan of the Supra. I'm totally cool with right hand drive. Like I almost don't even want left hand drive. You know what I'm saying? So you're right. It is like there are two different buyers and it is cool to have a lower barrier of entry into it now with the right hand drive cars coming over. Kind of like what you were saying. It opens it up to more guys. Whereas, yeah, like man, a left hand drive one is like out of my price range, but like right hand drive one, maybe, you know, I could make that happen. So yeah, it's almost like it's almost a cool thing. I think so. I think so. So, so okay. So that really clears that up for us. I think I understand what about you. Yeah, I think I got it pretty well. Yeah. I mean, makes sense. Yeah. Availability. Right. Yeah. And just. Availability is huge. So yeah. So you've traveled, you mentioned earlier, you traveled all over the US for work. And you've seen all these different car scenes, you know, in your experience, where was the car scene, the most active and vibrant, you know, the most unique, the ones that made you want to come out to the meat every single every single time you had it Houston Houston Houston. Yeah. Houston. So back in, I was in Houston in 2015. And I was there for eight months. They had this website called Houston Streets. And you could go on it, dude. And there was a calendar. Yeah, it was a calendar. And it had all these car events like whatever night of the week it was. And we went to a stance nation event at NRG Stadium in Houston. And there was a car group from Louisiana low, weezy, Anna was the name of it. Hello, W weezy Anna. And that was the first time I saw a the 180 240, what the hatchback. So it had the 180 front end on it. And this dude had a, I think he had an RV swap in it. It was dude. It was super nice. So like seeing cars of that caliber, I mean, at the time, I only had the EVO. So seeing cars like that's a, that would be a magazine car. That would be a feature card, import alliance kind of thing. You know, like seeing that kind of flavor in person in these groups. And like there's like, you know, these, these groups traveled from Louisiana from New Orleans, like six of them. And they drove, they drove. That's a haul. You know, so like it was just, it was very cool. And they were all very inviting. And they're, they were all like, you know, once you start talking the language, they know that you're like for real. And okay, you know, like, he knows what he's talking about. You get the respect. They were very cool. Yeah, it was awesome. We had a really good time. That was probably my number one was Houston. Anything you ever see anything wild go down. I mean, I know like takeovers and stuff weren't like popping them. But like, do you ever see just anything just a young blue your mind? No, the takeovers kind of started happening after we got the Supra and we went to some car stuff in PA. And like once that stuff hit, I'm out, dude. Yeah. I am. I'm leaving. I don't want to be associated. You know what I mean? Because like the end of the day, like if I'm, you know, if I, if I get damaged or like the cops come, I got Texas plates. I'm not from here. Like, I'm not dealing with this. You know what I mean? So, but not really. I mean, not really. We didn't, everything was pretty mellow. I mean, all the car guys are real, we're real laid back that we were the crowds that I was around were selected to like, because they kind of fit what we were into. You know what I mean? Yeah. So, all right. So we got, we have a little question for you where you're going to have to make a choice. Okay. Now this might be a hard choice, but we're going to need you to make a choice. All right. So, all right. If, if you're out with the soup, okay, you're out mobbing and someone comes up to you and they said, they'll give you any car that you want, but they're taking the Supra and it's going in the crusher. Would you do it? And for what car? Um, yes, but I would have to make out pretty good. So, like, I'm pretty big. Like, I've done, once you get into like certain platforms, you start like really getting into these platforms, you know, like you guys do with the skylines. So, like, I'm really into the, uh, the gated six-speed gaiardos. Yeah. You've been talking about those for a while. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, um, I'm down in Philly, a guy that I met at the car, meet his name's Brian. Uh, he had one of like four ever made, uh, super lageras that were, that it was twin-turboed. And it was a gated six-speed. And I would probably do it for that. Cause that car was, that car was insane. So it's going to take a gated, gated Lambo to get this super into into the crusher. Dude, that's legit. Yeah. I'd have to make out, like I said, I'd have to make out it have to be right. But I would for something like that. Cause if I were to ever sell the car, that would probably be what I would go for next. To be honest, it would be like a twin-turbo V10. But like, ah, you know what I mean? I'm just so happy with it now that I just, you know, I don't, I don't think that I would want to. Hey, there's nothing wrong with that, man. There's the, if, if you love it, you love it, you know, that just shows your loyalty. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. And so I know this guy wanted to know a few things about like what you got going on with the Supra and, you know, whatever. So yeah. So pretty much like what, what are the basic mods you got done? And what influenced you to do those modifications? Like, you know, as far as you're, we'll set up, you know, your engine setup, all that. Yeah. What influenced you there? So basically, when I got the car again, it was all stock, NA car. I had, I had a, I had a, I had a serpentine belt issue. So what happened was one day, because I don't think the guy drove it every day like I was doing, because I, I was kind of daily in it, you know, and, and so one day I had, I looked down in my crank pulley, which is kind of common on those cars is there's a rubber ring inside the crank pulley. And it had separated and the crank pulley had walked forward, right? Well, it had walked forward into the, the clutch fan, right? So I was like, man, you know, I don't have tools. I'm, you know, 10 hours from home. I don't have a trailer. I found, I found a shop, dropped it off. And I was like, you know, just go over it. Just check the car out. Just see what, you know, it's got a little oil leak here, just kind of, and they're like, yeah, well, it looks like you're, you're front main and, you know, like, we're gonna have to disassemble all this stuff. And if you hadn't done this, you know, you should probably do this now. And I don't really know how far you want to really dig into this. And I was like, well, how much would like a turbo set up be for an NA, right? Because on an NA, the heads are different. Yeah. And the intake comes over the top of the motor from the intake manifold, right? So, it's not a good setup for power. A lot of the IS 300s have that kind of setup because they don't go with a GTE conversion like I did. But if I had gone that route, it would have only, I would have only been like three, four hundred horsepower. And it really wouldn't have been like to me a real turbo super. No, that would have been like, yeah, three or four hundred horsepower. What do you think, turbo super. Yeah. Right. You know, so it was like, you know, so that setup was going to run me like 20 grand for the NAT. For the NAT. Yeah. So I was like, well, if I, if I did a GTE conversion, swap the head, did a forward facing the manifold, like if I did all of the major stuff, how much room would it give me to grow later on down the road? So I'm not having to respend this money because at the end of the day, if I had gone with the NAT, the IS 300 kit, eventually I would have gone with the GTE setup because I would have wanted more, right? 100%. So then COVID hit and we ended up going with a bigger turbo. And then like I just started kind of changing things. And next thing you know, like, it was twice as much as anticipated, but like, you know, there's tons of room. There's tons of room to grow. As far as the wheels, it came on the the five spoke CCW SP 500s, but they were 19s. And to me, 19s on that car were a little too big. Yeah. So I had always, I'd always really, really wanted CCWs, three piece classics fully polished. Right. So did you have those on the EVO? Sorry, sorry, but did you have those on the EVO? I have a set of the race classics on the EVO. They're just a good looking wheel. Yeah, yeah, I get it, I get it, dude, I get it. So, but I had never bought a brand new set before. So I was actually looking at buying a brand new set of American Force duly wheels for my duly. And they were like, dude, it was ridiculous. So I was like, I was like, no, man, I'll just I'll just buy the CCWs brand new and like custom order them. So the lips, the faces, the bolts, the barrels, it's, they're fully polished wheel. And like, I still remember on I still have videos from unboxing them because they were so nice. But the kind of it's a common look in the super world. But in my opinion, they're just it's such a nice wheel. They're, they're so well put together. They just they tie the car in so nicely. They look nice. They clean up nice. You know, I'm just I'm super happy with it. The way the car is sitting. Yeah, when you got those, they were super like popular at the time because I remember I wanted a set for my EK nine. Like, they were like hot like not that they're not now, but they were like almost re-emerging in the scene at that point. And like definitely, dude, I've seen those on everything from from civics to vipers. Yeah, it's a wild. It's one of those wheels that can literally get put on or anything. I want to say it was like a five month or six month wait. When I ordered them. Yeah, I called and dude that I talked to Andrew. I still have his email address because I have this, I have the spec sheet saved. Yeah, super fitment. Yeah. But as far as like engine wise, it's it's pretty stout. It's got a build head on it with a 76 millimeter GTX 4202. It's it's got room to grow for sure. I mean, I definitely definitely had you know right now turned all the way down. I'm right about 620 wheel, which is like, which is perfect for the street, honestly, because like it's not six hundred dollars crazy. Perfect for the street. Yeah, I think I think my setup right now maxed out like total max effort would be somewhere between 12 and 1300. But like I you super dudes are freaking nuts, dude. There's something wrong with you guys. I'm going to tell you that right now, dude. Oh, just turn it up about 12 13. Yeah, dude, they've been doing that forever, dude. I like, I just remember back in the day, the super guys would always be, oh, they would do the the BPU, the base performance upgrades or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they would be like a thousand horsepower on the stock block. And it's like, how do you even do this? It's 2004. Like how are you doing this? Yeah, so it's funny that you bring that up because like in the super world, there's a lingo. So BPU, right? Basic power upgrades. That's bolt-ons. To me and you, that's bolt-ons. Right. AP stuff is when you start getting those advanced power upgrades. So that's when you start getting into like head swaps and for your built bottom end and and then you kind of graduate from that when you do the full the full motor build and stand alone and that kind of stuff. You know what I mean? Yeah, it's funny. It's funny because that's really the only you I mean the GTR guys, do you have a lingo like that? Because I don't know that I can think of like that. No, wow, you guys are actually unique. You guys were like the first one to do that. I don't know. It was before me. I don't I don't go. It's like it's like the it's like the stage one stage two. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, you know, guys, you know what I mean? I don't know what any of it means, but yeah, no. So all right, man. So I got we got one final question for you. All right. You say that because today I was looking at a Liberty Walk FD RX 7 with a two J. Shout out to Liberty Walk. Wow. Dude. Yeah. It's down in Florida. It hit marketplace today. It's orange, which I'm not super super super big fan of. But when I was in Philly, I met this dude named Craig and I Craig's a wicked good guy. I still talked to him super knowledgeable. He had a two J swap FD. That was stout. I mean, the car was so fast and it only weighed like 2200 pounds. So I used to ride in the town with Craig with my super after I got it from the shop. And he had a V 160 car. And we went to a car meet in Allentown. And I think that was the first time he maxed it out racing a S550 on the interstate in PA. It was I stayed behind because like this is like the second or third time I'd ever driven my car, you know, with it out of the shop. So I was like kind of nervous still. But that car was so rowdy. And I think that'll be I think I think my next car will probably be an FD. And I think that I would go, you know, it's hard to say that because you never know what the market brings, right? I mean, if I saw a 99 Civic Type R in Phoenix, yellow, and it was decent, I would probably buy that because like I've always wanted one. You know what I mean? So something something like that, but relatively soon, you know, it's definitely something that I want for the collection for sure. Yeah, yeah, we're looking forward to it 100%. So wait, would that be your first right hand drive? Yeah. Nice. Yeah, we'll have a little celebration right hand drive party when that happens. Yeah. So go ahead. I'll never forget that. But, you know, it's all fun, right? It was all part of it and I should have known when I'm buying this car what these things were. So it is good to see how we all progress. You know, it was the first time me and I'm like, whatever this dude didn't put a frickin Ruckus in an S2000 and drive it on the interstate anyway. Oh, you know what I mean? Dude, I splatter that night. I get home. I get on Facebook. I think I have a friend request from him. Yeah. Click on it. Except dude, I go to his profile. His profile picture is a Ruckus. Yeah, dude, one of his pictures not not even that long ago. Dude, what's the, what's the Ruckus dude? And he had the passenger seat taken out of the S2000. Yeah. He had the top off and he had like the front wheel. I'm pretty sure like sticking out. In resting on the roll cage or something. Yeah, or on the on the back cover or something. And it was the middle of winter. So it was like super cold. I might even been snowing. I don't really remember exactly, but I just remember this dude definitely had a Ruckus in an S2000 and I was like, I guess he's not full of shit. He's not. He's not. He's not. He backs it up.
