Hey, and welcome to another episode of right-hand drive guys as always on Bobby This is Aaron and this is episode 54 and this is another Marketplace sweep. Yes, absolutely. Yeah January 2024. This is our first one first one of the year Yeah, yeah looking for the deals. Yeah, so if you're new here basically We look through marketplace. We use the search term RHD We look in different regions This week I did pretty much from Louisiana straight up to Chicago like this central Central America there. What did you do? I did My search point was just south of Vegas just south of Vegas Yeah, and it included lost Vegas a little bit of LA a little bit of Phoenix, Tijuana Tijuana That's cool. So We'll just kind of go back and forth and and kind of rip the deals that we found and see if we can Help somebody find their next deal hopefully hey if you if you do here Let's talk about a car and you buy it like hit us up We'd love to know that we actually connected somebody with something somewhere. Yeah, that'd be sweet Oh, yeah, all right. You go first. What you go cool. So first up for me. Let's see. I got a 97 Lancer evolution for EVO fo EVO 4 Clean title Five speed low miles. They said don't have a specific this is like one of the worst ads I think I've seen oh nice, but it's a cool looking car Has a bit of paint fade. He's asking 24,500 24/5 for the EVO 4 with some paint fade, but it's running running and driving says where I'm sorry, where did you say this one was this is in Claremont, California Claremont, California Yeah, I mean it looks like it definitely has potential and those are definitely pretty cool cars Oh for sure. You know they all will drive 4G 6 3. Yeah, they rip we saw we saw one auntie Motorsports museum at Fuji. Yeah, yeah, we did yeah So did it say how long ago that was listed about a month ago. Yeah, I saw a few of those so All right cool. I got a 97 97 accurate integral. It's not accurate Honda and Tegra Type R and so This one is the two door, but it's got the five lug as it's a 97 nice And it's got 129,000 miles on it or 215,000 kilometers. That's decent. It looks to be an all right shape. It doesn't look you know It I don't know it doesn't look amazing, but it doesn't look horrible. Right. He's got it listed for 26,000 Which I mean it does have a little higher kilometers, but I have seen these going for 30 to 30 233, you know just depending so right you might have a deal here, but I'd probably definitely want to check it out in person and That's in little rock, Arkansas Decent about a month ago as well, man, dummy those those cars are they've kind of like chilled out on price I feel like yeah, I mean, I'm sure it's it's you know, yeah everything kind of is besides like I'm sure they'll slowly start climbing Once you know as time goes on hopefully All right, what's your second one so my next one up? I got a 94 S 14 Sylvia the 94 S 14 Yeah, man this thing It's probably seen better days They're asking $16,000 for it that that should be tell tell signs sounds like a little too cheap It's got an SR 20 DET. It's got a mild build on it a clean title But it's got the typical S chassis mismatch panel Dennyed quarter panel Beat up drift a look so it's seen seen a few corners. Right right But 16 grand has a decent looking SR in it To that's that's all right if you look at it out there for a river. Yeah, why not right? I slide it around a bit. Yeah, some skitties. Yeah, why not? Yeah, I mean right you got to think some of these cars We're not we're not just picking show cars, you know or like you know said Some people need an affordable vehicle that they can just sling around and not worry about yeah so I found a 93 Toyota Supra Oh Turbo turbo and this is in spring, Texas listed about 12 days ago So it it has on it's on the lower end of mileage it does have a bunch of upgrades like ETS intercooler piping Single big turbo, but 65k these things are always Yeah, just 50 plus no matter what if it has it's herbo. Yeah, I mean, it's original turbo But it is right hand driving I will be excited eventually to have a super guy on the podcast and talk about Why the right hand drive prices are lower than the left hand drive prices and like why there's that like Kind of disconnect between the two cars when it is weird. Yeah, you know, Mazda RX-7s. It's not like that right? Yeah, so Down in spring Texas this thing silver. It's got some some beefy rear tires on it. I mean, I'm sure it holds It looks like a Supra. Yeah, it does it looks exactly like a super typical Supra right there. It's got the big wing Yeah, that's it. I mean, but it seems to be in good condition So if if you're in the market then hit him up. Yeah Up next for me. I got another Evo 4 this one's a 96 okay, so this one is white the other one was silver This one was on this 11 days ago, so I'm sure it's still available don't don't hit him up asking if it's still available Okay, cuz if it's up. It's yeah Got it right and I'm California so It's definitely out there on the west coast I mean Looks like an evil to me 25k 25k yeah, it seems to be the going rate okay So so cuz I have one coming up to so I'll be interested to see if there's a third What's the reason yeah people got him over here and then they're like oh it's it's a Mitsubishi Mitsubishi GSX whatever right it's like I mean they're sweet and they can be sweet But if you're expecting this monster out the gate. It's not a monster out the gate Like you have to build it you have to you know put a bigger turbo on there It's got a small little Snail right right getting at the 20g. Yeah, the big boy So I got down in Dallas. I got a 93 Mazda speed azy one With the going doors You see the one Liberty walked in remember that one from autosalon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean Yeah, so this one though. It's got the hood scoobens. It's the typical azy one, but This one had like a super low cams. I don't have it here But I know that cuz I was like why 25 grand and the cams are super low it looks clean It looks like they're probably pretty low on it. So I'm not huge into these But you really don't see JDM right hand drive cars with Going doors all the time right right and I know they were little rippers too. Yeah for their size Yeah, that and the there was a Suzuki version as well. Yeah, so weird collaboration there. Yeah, that is it I mean, I guess I can see it Mazda Suzuki So yeah Down in Dallas, the list of 14 days ago for 25 grand decent, dude well Up next for me. I got a 1997 Mitsubishi Jero evolution rally art nice dude if you don't know about these look them up because I mean for I guess a small SUV It's literally a homologation special for a Dakar rally truck So yeah, it kind of looks it. Yeah, dude. So these things are beast. I don't know what exactly what type of engine is in it But I do know it's a V6 3.5 So yeah, they're for years. This one specifically It is a 97 97. It's only got 86,000 original miles Title no problem Those things probably ride like a dump truck though dude, you know if they're Like that they short wheelbase and like it's probably like dude. I mean they look sick though They have like a full arrow package. Oh, yeah, this one's got some huge tires and wheels dude 39,000 though price dropped from 45 which is wild if you think about it. That's cool that some Bridges are coming down though because some stuff was unrealist. Yeah, these things are cool Yeah, I wouldn't mind having one of these for no reason. Yeah Like if you had some land and you could like take it out around or I don't know just park it I mean, I don't know if this is like top 10 on my list. Yeah, probably top 100 even probably top 100 It's somewhere on the list of the that's what we should do top 100 right hand drive cars That we would take in order. Yeah, that would be a list But we got time in the future. So All right, so the Pichero evolution where just that was Gilbert Arizona Gilbert Arizona I got a Gilbert how long ago about a month Yeah, see So some people do actually like keep up with that because they don't want the messages right and other people just ignore the people messaging them Don't take them off. So it's hard to trust, you know and That but we do Facebook because it's easily accessible to most people and and you can search pretty easily and it's kind of taken over When it comes to marketplace websites because of its integration with Facebook. Yeah, so I don't think any like I haven't been on Craigslist in years. What is that exactly? Yeah, yeah Back page was that where I used to find my card. No way So I got a 94 Honda Acti I figured I'd throw in the mini truck Dude guys, you know, this is down in Houston and It was listed two months ago. I do notice that he did a price drop from 7500 to 7000 Yeah, I mean because the prices on these have come down quite a bit because the supply because the guys like this are now way higher Yeah, I mean these guys are just throwing a bunch of money ship and Then thinking they're gonna flip them real quick, but I think they're starting to kind of realize like oh wow Maybe we we did a little too much here, you know, yeah, dude, and there's no lack of those in Japan No, there isn't yeah, there's there's a ton. Yeah, believe it or not. Yeah Mark our buddy mark. He just sent me one earlier. That's a 2023 and like it's literally the same exact concept But with like smoother, you know better Yeah, yeah, so yeah So yeah, I mean this is down in Houston. It's a 94 And I mean yeah, if you're looking for one you you can probably find one no matter where you are 100% what do you go cool up next? I have a 1989 Mazda MX-5 Ueno's Roadster so pretty much pretty much a meada roadster whatever This went particularly I hate I do I love me audis me audis Great they have their own place like they're great, right? But this one in particular hate it. It's got a Rare pit crew racing front and rear end with rare polished bumpers. So it's right dude look at this thing That's a face only a mother could love do it. It It changes the whole front end of the thing to look kind of like a old Porsche or something or yeah like a Shelby Cobra like Street like yeah, I see that you know what I mean one of like the AC cobras I guess it was and It changes the back to look like even more disgusting Yeah, it is it is so ridiculous and like it's got a goofy looking smile in the Yeah, throw this thing away dude. Well, how much is that dude 12,000? 12,000 bucks, which is a deal? You know you do that you through the You throw the front end in the rear end in the trash and Keep it moving dude. That's a decent deal for me. I'da yeah, I mean, I don't know I don't know what they go for but For that thing 12 grand. I don't know if I'm right and it's an 89. I didn't even know they I don't think we got a meata in the states Till like night early 90s, right? Right like 91 maybe 90. I'm not sure maybe 89 Yeah, not a monster me out of guy myself, but yeah, this car. It's Riverside, California Buy it. They're the front end away. I think you're all set rip it So I found a 33 GTR and 95 And so this guy has 92,000 kilometers or 57,000 miles with a clean title and a whole list of parts he's got on there. He's got You know the Nismo I don't remember which model this is but he's got the Nismo I think it's like the S-Tune that S-Tune yeah and You know a few other things on this car He's asking 46 75 for it and it doesn't show that he's like reduce the price at all So he came out of the gate with the 46 75 the interior isn't a Macculid or anything he must have got that pre-COVID yeah, but yeah, that's how it seems because I mean this is a decent deal for Under 100,000 kilometers. Yeah, I mean again, it needs a little bit of love But if you're looking for a 33 GTR and you like the white, I mean I would maybe look into scooping this seeing if you can get him down to 44 or something Was listed two months ago in bowling broke Illinois so I don't know if he still has it or not But if you're looking he does someone needs to jump on that. Yeah, yeah, that's what I was thinking Yeah, so up next I have a 96 Toyota Chaser coming out of Las Vegas, Nevada He's asking 19 5 for it, but the details Got me a little confused It's it's got a one J one JZ in a Automatic and it's all will drive So it's an all will drive automatic JZ X100 interesting and The ad says it's got 10,000 in mods which I don't really see it's just got you know a body kit some coilovers some Knock off wheels and you know some maintenance items, but I don't see 10k there. Yeah a lot of times people's receipts add up a little quicker than they yeah They think you know, I mean the paint looks cool. It's got like a midnight purplish looking Paint job going on, but I mean it's an automatic all-wheel drive chaser So if I mean if you can't even get you're right if you can't slide your chaser dude. What are you doing with it? Yeah, can't can drift an old drive like that not like that not all-wheel drive in it Yeah, but I mean if you need a snow beater There it is that you're that's your thing right there 20k So and where did you say that was as right out of Vegas Vegas? How long ago? Round a month ago month ago. Sorry. No, no, no, no three days ago. So that's fresh So Three days ago dang yeah, that's yeah, you can get that like right now probably yeah for sure Speaking about getting it right now we got a red 34 Ford or two TT. Yeah, that's my buddies. That's your buddies Yeah, out in no Fallon, Missouri. Yep nice dude. That's a nice car. It looks like a nice car I mean, it's price like it's a nice car. It is yeah, definitely Lista he's listed about a month ago 37.5 and it's got 24,000 miles so it probably is a nice car. Yeah, for sure I mean it's definitely got the low cams. It's got a you know full kit on it. Yeah, I mean looks made it's Definitely a nice car and I'm pretty sure it's got leather too. Oh, wow. Yeah, now you can kind of see it. Yeah dang so Yeah, I mean hit this guy up if you're one of those guys looking for the Ford or 34 I'd assume that the motors done up just by the way it looks I think it's got the basic Intercooler and yeah, I mean probably keeps it clean. Yeah, just by the way everything looks. It's it's a nice car So hit him up. He listed a month ago. Yeah nice car Oh, yeah All right Scroll back to mine All right, let's see I got a 91 Honda beat the beat the beat dude this thing Not gonna lie. It looks a little beat It's an fallbrook, California Fallbrook, California. Yeah, was it 11 days ago? They're asking $6,000 for it for the beat for the beat I mean, which is a little high Yeah, I guess they got like a they got wheels They got like a goofy looking front splitters and knards which nice whatever it probably look better if he's through those away Track months. Yeah, it's got a no good racing sticker on the side. Oh, okay. I mean that might be worth the buy who knows who on that right? No good But yeah, it's a $6,000 beat these cars. I mean, I've seen them usually go around this price usually around the $5,000 mark is where I see him for a decent one but I don't know you never see him like totally done up. Yeah anything beyond that No, and I when we got back from the Japan the first time after a weck fest. Yeah, we When we saw those I like went deep into trying to figure it out on like how to get one. Yeah, what I could do to it and to be honest like It's not It's not that easy to get parts form like there's not much out there so like anything they made they made a long time long This continued right? Yeah, and so you'll find a glimpse of something like a turbo kit or something But then it's always dead ends, you know, so I quickly lost interest in the beats Yeah, yeah, it seems like I'd be a lot of custom work and yeah, which could be cool if you had the time right right skills, right? So I got a I found a White 32 I was I was looking at Skylines. I can't lie, but I found a white 32 and It's not for me. I I would like a white 32 because it would kind of complete what I got going on But this one isn't for me, but it's definitely for someone It's it's a 90 it was listed about a month ago in wheeling Illinois and it's got a single turbo and the guy says it has a G-Max twin clutch and it runs and drives great now The mileage he didn't list which I was kind of surprised kind of But it is 36 9 and again listed about a month ago. I don't know if that has any room. I mean It seems to be an alright shape. He says he will take trades. Yeah But I don't know for it something seems a little Little off to me with the car so I'm I maybe would skip it and wait for the next one But he's impressive. Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. It's worth mentioning here because yeah If somebody doesn't care about the drive line the you know whole motor whatever like they're just looking for something that they're gonna Deep dive into yeah, you're cuz there wasn't there was a little bit of that surface rust underneath right But it wasn't all rusted out and so maybe it's worth, you know, yeah, I mean this is like the bottom of the Yeah, bottom of the wrong for the 32 GT or a GTR in general right? I don't think you're gonna get much cheaper than that. No way I mean not running driving right right like that I mean brings me to my next one This guy and good year, Arizona. He has a 92 92 skyline 32 GTR He's asking 25,000 for it and It looks like it wasn't a nice car according to him it caught on fire when he was doing something with the fuel pump So it has a little bit of burn, but all the fire was put out Whatever it it started to get repaired it seemed like but still a little burn marks on the side He has everything to fix the rest of it But there's also a little bit of rust Not bad, but definitely repairable, but not something that you want if you want that perfect car But 25,000 bucks gets you into a 32 GTR That's the same you know small amount of work to put into it, I guess so 25K your GTR owner now. Yeah, wow that's not bad That's got to put in some work. Yeah, yeah, I might have some burn marks. Yeah, you got some pain issues But I mean that's minor you got a GTR son. Yeah, 32 GTR 25K. Where was that good year? Arizona. Oh, okay and listed how long ago? Six days ago, so that's fresh and I've seen him share it on a few groups. I did see that I remember us talking about it like dang. Yeah, that would be Sure So I'm gonna continue on with your Mitsubishi Lancer evolution Trend so I got a 96 which is still the four This guy brought it back with him from the military. It's a rally sport I'm not sure what rally sport has to do with it I'm not sure if that's different accessories whatever the case may be but He has it listed like it's a rally sport compared to the other ones. I mean you had 2526 Yeah, this is 30 30. Yeah, it doesn't do it. Yeah, I mean and it looks clean. It seems nice You know if it was his personal car and he didn't just go over there to like snatch it then it could be a great deal He listed it 19 days ago in Springfield, Illinois and it's yeah, I mean, it's the wicked white like it's it's a nice looking car so Maybe out of all of them. This is just the best quality Yeah, I don't remember I didn't see yours, but um definitely looks to be quality so yeah Evil five four four it's a four. It's a four. It's a foul Cool up next for me. I got a this one's questionable I don't know if I should be this should be on the show or not. Wow, so it's a Nissan Skyline 92 Well, however Left-hand drive what in the world right? What the thing? So I guess in the they In countries like Dubai or the UAE in a few others you have to have it's by law you have to have a left-hand drive car So people would buy these cars modify them to left-hand drive in which like the interior this thing it looks Flulless from what you can from what you can see in the picture that looks flawless so like whatever companies converting these cars they must have They're thing down with the dash. Well, I don't I don't even know how the you would Re-shape it or cut it in half and remold it to another side That's crazy. I don't even know, but hey, it's done and it looks legit This car particularly it has a full GTR front-end minus the hood and Actually a full GTR kit. I guess it's got the skirts the rebomper the Wing and all that. It's a hundred percent rust-free. It's got some Quote new BC racing shocks and new good-year Eagle sports So someone's grandfather owns this car. Yeah, so it sounds yeah It's got an in-a RB 25 which they those did come in the later R32s In-a's R325 so pretty decent. It's not the RB 20 right it is automatic But guys asking Fricking GTR money for it dude. He's asking 45,000 holy moly dude I do send it back to the buy last year Get out of here like you it's like literally nothing that anyone that wants a skyline Like they don't want in a yeah, they don't want an automatic they sure as hell don't want left hand drive This is the worst skylight ever yeah, like 45,000 It is it is somebody's grandfather or somebody just inherited it and is thinking that they just Had to come up dude. I don't know but it's an LA. So okay, Jay if you're out there Jay make sure he doesn't have GTR badges Yeah, go check that thing out So I got another skyline skyline heavy I got a skyline episode Yes, so I love the Niva episode. I just know that Aaron wants one of these so I kept seeing him So maybe I was like you know sub subliminally, you know putting the seed to where he's gonna show up with one But I got a 98 GTT photo another photo and this guy's driven at 66,000 miles and I Mean it's pretty clean. I mean the wheels. I don't know. It's it's like that navy blue color I don't know. Yeah, what that actual color is Montelo was constant this guy listed it six days ago and I mean it's a pretty clean car the interior was clean You know just stock intercoolers talk turbo, you know the whole deal, but a great base for somebody for sure. Yeah, 100% Yeah, what you got Cool last one for me believe it or not it's another skyline. Wow and This particular one. It's an R34 GT Just like about like what you just had except it's not a non-turbo. Okay It's in Lahabra, California posted 10 days ago and it's actually a 99 so this is like a Freshly wow. Yeah, fresh first fresh. Just coming in. Yeah, so Quick flipping dip. This guy did. Oh, yeah, and it's got an RB 25 DE Which like non-turbo again, but it's got the five speed manual so that's good and I've actually heard of a lot of people taking the NA RB 25s and Especially the Nios and putting turbo kits on them and they rip just like the regular 25 wood they'll spin tired guy do they will Yeah, it's like a it's like a budget thing that I've seen a lot of people start doing like I mean seen a lot of Australians do it as well So and they they've had these cars for much longer than we have so they got something figured out. Yeah, oh, yeah, so But pretty low mileage 31,000 miles couple mods legit being sports kit and That's pretty decent. Yeah, somebody put some love into it, right? Yeah, I mean he's asking 32,000 which is little on the high end for being in a yeah, you know say But he's got a bunch of other work into it so right so turbo kit on it singable to rip$40,000 all day how long ago did you say that was listening 10 days ago so pretty recently this thing's probably still available so For my last one to conclude the episode I have a 92 Suzuki cappuccino Yes, cappuccino, so I don't really love these but no you do and no, I see that twinkly No, I when you look at it It's like ugly, but what caught my about this one is that it is Sainly clean like it has the hard top. It has the OEM white Mazda speed wheels It's first not Mazda speed it the whatever the Suzuki one was Yeah, I'm getting my my meadas and cappuccinos But but it has like this is a key wheels and so It's I mean it's pretty legit you can tell whoever had this like really took care of it. Yeah, it looks mint And the guy who like has it imported it in himself in December of 22 so he kept it for well over a year before even tried to sell it Which tells you he probably got it for himself So it probably is clean it says it has ceramic coating Right, so someone cared about it. Yeah, exactly. So these are the ones that I would buy because those are the type of things I do and I know I give a shit about the car So I'm hoping that guy does too right So this was listed two months ago over in Omaha Nebraska. Yeah, he might still have it He might yeah, he's asking 1434 it especially for that ticket. Yeah, I mean I Get it to him. It's worth it to him. It's it's if it's a $15,000 car to him. Yeah, but to the general like consumer base in this industry or this area of cars. Yeah, no like that area Nebraska specifically. Yeah, I don't know what the JDM scene is out there, but I can't imagine it's kind of like main right? Yeah, I mean you couldn't sell this here for that. I mean maybe Maybe just because somebody would want to ride the coast and it's some somebody from mass that has a summer house and yeah Up in the Hava. Yeah, yeah in the Hava. Yeah, so anyways These are the cars we got for you. We did about 10 each and hopefully there was something in there that you can pursue We try to give you the info so you can get in Facebook marketplace in those areas find it Massage room. Don't do the highest available. Yeah, nothing pisses these guys off more than that you can tell Now they will not respond to it.
